What Riverside does to an airframe

Riverside gets the full inland climate: very high summer heat, low humidity, strong sun, and dust. The combination is hard on everything. Paint oxidizes, plastics and rubber dry out, and interiors take UV through the glass all day. Aircraft based here benefit more from protective coating than from any amount of frequent washing.
