Private Jet Detailing, Mobile Across California

Private jet detailing is not car work at altitude. Outside, you are working around static wicks, probes, antennas, and seals. Inside, it is leather, veneer, and wool carpet in a cabin you cannot take apart. I work alone, usually overnight, so the airplane is back on the schedule by morning.

Mobile across California outside San Diego County, since 2022. Tell me the aircraft, the field, and the departure time, and I will tell you what fits the window. Estimates are free.

Private jet detailing for light, midsize, and heavy jets

The method does not change much between a light jet and a heavy one. The hours do. A light jet has one cabin zone, a small galley, and a belly you can reach off a low step. A midsize adds seats, carpet, and a tail you need a stand for. A heavy jet adds a second lav, a crew rest, more veneer, more glass, and enough exterior square footage that a full polish stops being a one night job. When you call, tell me the type and how it is configured. That sets the hours, and the hours set the number.

What a private jet cleaning service covers inside the cabin

Seats, carpet, veneer, sidewalls, headliner, glass, seat tracks, gasper vents, and the parts nobody looks at until an owner does. Crumbs under the seat pans. Coffee in the carpet pile that turns into a smell by week two. Leather gets a pH neutral clean and a conditioner, not a shine product, because silicone transfers onto clothes and a passenger notices that immediately. Veneer topcoat does not take ammonia or alcohol, so it gets cleaned the slow way. Carpet gets extracted, and extraction needs drying time before the door closes, which is why interior work belongs in an overnight window and not a two hour turn. Galley and lav go last, in that order.

Exterior jet detailing, belly, and brightwork

The belly is the job. Exhaust soot and oil mist bond harder every week they sit, and once it has been through enough heat cycles it stops wiping off and has to be broken down and worked by hand. Leading edges, nacelle lips, and polished aluminum get brightwork treatment separately from the painted surfaces. I keep product out of static ports, pitot tubes, drains, hinge lines, and control surface gaps, and I mask what needs masking. Radome paint is thin and de-ice boots take their own treatment, so neither one sees a polisher. If the hangar has no wash rack or the field restricts runoff, the exterior goes as a dry wash instead.

Overnight jet detailing, ready before the morning departure

Turnaround is the whole reason I work nights. I start after the last flight of the day and finish before the crew shows. Open 24 hours Monday to Saturday, closed Sunday. What fits one night depends on the airplane and its condition. An exterior wash plus a full cabin detail on a light jet is a normal single night. A heavy jet needing paint correction plus a deep interior is not, and I would rather tell you that on the phone than at 5 a.m. with the aircraft half done. Give me the show time and the type on the first call and I will tell you what is realistic and what needs a second night.

Private jet detailing near me, anywhere in California

I am based in Pasadena and I work every part of California except San Diego County. There is no shop to bring the airplane to. I come to the hangar or out to the ramp with everything on the truck. Field access is the part worth sorting early. Tell me whether the FBO needs an escort, whether the hangar will be open or somebody has to meet me, and where I can park while I work. If the drive makes a job hard to justify, I will say so before you book instead of after. The number is (323) 795-3215 and it reaches me directly.

Booking a jet detailer and getting a free estimate

Six things get you an accurate number on the first call: aircraft type, airport and hangar, when it lands, when it departs, whether the field allows water, and what the airplane actually looks like right now. A photo of the belly tells me more than any description. Estimates are free, and I quote the job rather than an hourly rate that grows overnight. Payment is cash, Venmo, or Zelle, whichever your flight department already uses. If it is a recurring aircraft, we can set a standing schedule so the wash cycle stays ahead of the dirt instead of chasing it.

Answers before you call

If something is not here, (323) 795-3215 reaches Joel directly.

How much does private jet detailing cost?

It depends on aircraft size, how long it has been since the last detail, and whether you want interior, exterior, or both. A light jet cabin refresh and a heavy jet exterior polish are not in the same range. I do not publish a price list because I would be guessing at your airplane. Call with the type and condition. The estimate is free.

How long does it take to detail a private jet?

Plan on a full night for most single aircraft jobs. An exterior wash on a light jet is a few hours. A full interior with carpet extraction needs drying time on top of the cleaning itself. Paint polishing a midsize or heavy airframe runs past one night if the finish has been left alone for a while. Give me the departure time and I scope to it.

What is included in a private jet cleaning service?

Exterior wash, belly, brightwork and polished aluminum, leading edges, and paint polishing where the finish needs it. Inside, that is seats and leather, carpet, veneer, sidewalls, headliner, glass, seat tracks, vents, galley, and lav. You pick the scope. Most flight departments alternate, a lighter interior between trips and the full exterior on a longer ground period.

Can you clean a jet without water?

Yes. A dry wash is the normal answer when a hangar has no drain, the field restricts runoff, or the aircraft is parked somewhere water is not practical. It goes panel by panel with towels rotated often, because the only real risk in a dry wash is dragging grit across paint. On a heavily soiled belly, water first is better when the field allows it.

Do you detail jets overnight for an early departure?

That is most of what I do. I work 24 hours a day Monday to Saturday and I am closed Sunday. Overnight means the aircraft is not off the schedule during business hours, and the crew walks up to a finished airplane. Book the night before the trip rather than the morning of, and tell me the exact show time.

Do you come to my airport?

I cover every part of California except San Diego County, working out of Pasadena. Southern California fields are short drives. Central and Northern California work best on longer ground periods or when there is more than one aircraft in a visit. I do not claim ramp access I do not have, so send me your escort and access procedure and I will work to it.
